사이버 위협 인텔리전스 검색엔진 플랫폼 ‘크리미널(Criminal) IP’와 스플렁크(Splunk) 대시보드를 연동한 ‘크리미널 IP FDS 스플렁크 앱’을 출시했다고 밝혔다.
크리미널 IP는 실시간으로 수집되는 전 세계 IP 주소 정보를 기반으로 악성 IP와 악성 및 피싱 도메인을 판별하여 선제적인 대응을 가능하게 하는 위협 인텔리전스 솔루션이다. 지난 4월 글로벌 베타 서비스를 런칭해 현재 국내를 포함해 미국, 일본, 싱가포르 등 80 여 개 국가에서 월 20만 명 이상이 사용하고 있다.

티맥스소프트는 최근 일본의 IT 시스템 운영관리 전문기업 유니리타(UNIRITA)의 클라우드 서비스 전문기업 유니리타SR과 협업해 자사의 메인프레임 모더나이제이션 솔루션 '오픈프레임(OpenFrame)'과 유니리타SR의 'SR클라우드 패키지'를 연계한 서비스 '스트럭처 에이투제트'를 제공하기 시작했다.
스트럭처 에이투제트는 오픈프레임을 통해 기존 메인프레임의 자산을 유연성이 높은 클라우드 환경으로 이행하기 위한 진단 및 분석, 전환(마이그레이션), 테스트 등 일련의 과정을 자동화 방식으로 지원한다. 또 메인프레임의 클라우드 전환 후 필요한 클라우드 운영 및 유지보수는 유니리타SR의 'SR클라우드 패키지'를 통해 제공한다. 이는 구독제 방식의 서비스로 대규모 예산 투입이 필요한 레거시 시스템의 현대화를 소규모 기업도 초기 투자비용 부담 없이 이룰 수 있다.

이번 보고서에 따르면 전 세계 인구의 절반 이상(52%)이 현재 게임을 플레이하고 있으며, 게이머의 대부분(77%)이 멀티플레이어 게임을 즐기는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 게임 구매와 참여를 결정할 때 사회적 요소가 가장 큰 영향을 주는 것으로 드러났다.
유니티는 최근 게임 서버 호스팅과 매치메이커(Matchmaker)를 출시해 모든 규모의 스튜디오가 멀티플레이어 게임의 개발 속도를 높이고 향상된 커넥티드 게임 경험을 구현하는 기초 제작 툴을 사용할 수 있게 했다. 새롭게 출시된 툴과 함께 유니티 게이밍 서비스(Unity Gaming Services, 이하 UGS)에서 제공되는 멀티플레이어 솔루션 포트폴리오가 한층 더 강력해졌다.
2022년 유니티 멀티플레이어 보고서에 따르면 멀티플레이어 게임을 구매하거나 게임에 참여할 때 사회적 요소가 가장 중요한 고려 대상인 것으로 나타났다. 게임을 선택할 때 ‘장르’ 다음으로 가장 많이 고려되는 것이 ‘친구들이 이미 플레이 중인 게임(34%)’과 ‘게임 안에서 친구와 채팅 가능(31%)’인 것으로 밝혀졌다. 게임을 즐기는 데에 중요한 요인으로는 ‘참여할 게임 빠르게 찾기/빠른 매치메이킹(35%)’과 ‘실력 수준에 맞는 상대를 찾아 주는 매치메이킹(33%)’으로 드러났다.
특히, 이 보고서는 플레이어의 선호도에 대한 내용도 함께 다루고 있다. 우선 실시간 멀티플레이어 게이머의 91%가 크로스 플레이 게임을 즐기는 것으로 나타났다. 코어 게이머와 캐주얼 게이머 모두 게임 내 유료 결제를 이용할 것으로 예상되며, 전체 멀티플레일본IDC이어 게이머 중 절반 이상(61%)이 설문조사가 실시되기 전 30일 동안 DLC(Downloadable content, 다운로드 가능한 콘텐츠)를 구매한 적이 있었다.
또한 코어 게이머와 캐주얼 게이머가 선택하는 게임 장르는 큰 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 전통적인 멀티플레이어 게임에서 코어 게이머의 비율이 상대적으로 높게 나타났지만, 캐주얼 게이머는 카드 게임이나 퍼즐 등과 같은 특정 게임 유형으로 제한되지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

한편, 2022년 유니티 멀티플레이어 보고서는 유니티가 게임 매출 상위 6개국 중 4개국(미국, 영국, 한국, 일본)의 멀티플레이어 게이머를 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시해 수집한 2021년 3분기와 2022년 3분기 데이터를 활용했다. 설문 조사의 응답 대상은 약 1,500명의 게이머로, 50%의 코어 게이머(배틀 로얄, FPS, 3인칭 슈팅과 같은 전통적인 멀티플레이어 슈팅 장르와 MOBA, MMO, 레이싱, 스포츠, 대전 격투 게임 등을 혼합해 매주 4시간 이상 멀티플레이어 게임을 플레이하는 게이머)와 50%의 캐주얼 게이머(매주 2시간 이상 게임을 하면서 멀티플레이어 게임을 30분 이상 플레이하는 게이머)로 구성됐다.
해커조직 ‘킬넷(KillNet)’은 올해 2월부터 우크라이나를 지원하는 북대서양조약기구(NATO) 회원국을 비롯한 주요 국가에 대한 사이버 공격을 시도해왔다. 최근에는 미국 공항 웹사이트를 ‘분산 서비스 거부’(DDoS, 디도스) 방식으로 공격했다.
미 정부는 디도스 공격이 미치는 영향이 미미하다고 발표했지만, 무시만 하기는 어렵다. 한국의 과학기술정보통신부와 한국인터넷진흥원(KISA) 등은 주요 기반 시설의 보안 강화에 나서며 대응에 나섰다.
기술정보통신부 등에 따르면 킬넷은 11월 5일 오전 5시 45분쯤(현지시각) 텔레그램 채널을 통해 미국 주요 공항에 대한 디도스 공격을 감행했다. 디도스 공격 대상이 된 곳은 필라델피아, 잭슨빌, 그랜드포크, 포틀랜드, 롱비치, 듀랑고, 비스마르크, 미주리 등 8개 공항이다.
킬넷은 이보다 앞선 올해 5월 독일 연방치안청, 연방헌법수호청 등 정부 사이트를 겨냥한 디도스 공격을 했다. 6월 말에는 리투아니아 정부 기관과 민간 기업이 디도스 공격을 받았고, 당시 리투아니아 정부는 공격 배후로 킬넷을 지목했다.
공격은 기술적인 지식보다 공격자 숫자가 중요하다. 사이트 트래픽을 한 순간에 올려 장애를 발생시키는 공격 방식이다. 해커들은 광범위한 오픈 소스 디도스 서비스와 도구를 활용해 공공 웹사이트의 정상적인 운영을 방해할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 킬넷이 공항 웹사이트 호스팅 서버를 공격하면, 여행자는 공항 서비스를 예약하거나 예정된 항공편에 대한 정보를 받을 수 없다.
미국 연방수사국(FBI)은 최근 많이 발생하고 있는 해커집단의 디도스 공격의 영향이 미미하다고 4일(현지시각) 밝혔다.
FBI는 "러시아의 우크라이나 침공과 동시에 핵심 인프라 기업을 목표로 디도스 공격을 해 제한적인 성공을 얻어낸 친러시아 해커 집단을 알고 있다"며 "이러한 공격이 피해자에게 미치는 영향은 미미하지만, 해커그룹은 종종 소셜 미디어에 대한 공격의 심각성을 홍보하고 과장한다"고 말했다.
FBI 측은 일시적인 웹사이트 장애를 일으킨 해커들이 존재감을 드러내며 그 결과를 실제로 일어난 것보다 더 과장해 주장한다고 설명했다. 하지만 디도스 공격에 따른 서비스 중단 가능성이 있는 만큼 주의가 필요하다.
킬넷은 러시아의 우크라이나 침공 후 미국, 독일과, 일본, 이탈리아, 리투아니아 등을 공격했다. 한국 역시 공격 대상이 될 수 있는 만큼, 정부는 주요 기반시설의 보안을 강화하는 등 대응에 나선다.
과기정통부와 KISA는 국내 분산서비스 공격 시도에 대한 탐지와 모니터링을 강화하는 등 긴급 상황에 대비한다. 항공사 정보보호최고책임자(CISO)를 포함해 주요 기반시설 관계자들에게 관련 내
용을 전파하고 자체적인 보안 모니터링 강화를 주문했다.
과기정통부와 KISA는 공격자가 악용할 경우 서비스 접속 불가 등 피해가 발생할 수 있는 위험도 수준 '하이(High, OpenSSL 프로젝트 기준)' 등급의 OpenSSL 보안 취약점에 대해서도 신속한 패치(11.1 배포) 등 보안 업데이트를 독려했다.

NTSEL은 일본 eCall 표준에서 참조하는 차량 내 UN-R144 호환 eCall(비상 통화) AECS(사고 비상 통화 시스템)에 대한 승인 기관이다.
MD8475B는 일본 표준에 따라 TPS (Third Party Service) eCall 서버와 함께 사용해 유엔 표준 호환성을 테스트할 수 있다(UN-R144 Annex 11 Table 10 Performance test method 3).

브리지스톤은 31일 보도자료를 통해 "공급 문제 등 미래가 불투명한 상황에서 사태를 신중하고 종합적으로 숙고한 결과, 러시아 사업을 현지 사업주에게 양도하기로 했다"고 발표했다.
브리지스톤은 1998년 러시아 사업을 본격적으로 시작해 승용차용 타이어 생산 공장과 판매 법인을 운영해 왔다. 두 곳에서 근무하는 인원은 1천 명 수준이었다.
하지만 러시아가 2월 우크라이나를 침공하면서 3월부터 공장 가동을 중지하고 설비 투자도 동결했다.
브리지스톤은 "양도 절차가 완료될 때까지 몇 개월 걸릴 것으로 예상된다"고 전했다.
앞서 일본 자동차 업체인 도요타, 마쓰다, 닛산, 미쓰비시 등도 우크라이나 전쟁 장기화에 따라 러시아 사업을 철수한다고 밝혔다.
등 특화된 룸 설계분야 선두기업 원방테크는 신사업으로 공조가 필요한 IDC분야를 신성장동력으로 선정하고 신규 사업인 이머전쿨링시장에 진출했다.
원방테크의 관계자는 “데이터센터는 4차 산업혁명시대 ICT 신사업 활성화를 위한 핵심 기반시설로써 D.N.A(Data, Network, AI) 및 ICBM(IoT, Cloud, Big Data, Mobile) 기반 서비스 구현을 위한 데이터의 저장·처리·유통하고 있어 역할이 나날이 중대해지고 있다”라며 해외서버“CPU/GPU의 발열량 증가로 고발열 서버가 급격히 증가될 것으로 전망돼 100MW 이상 하이퍼스케일 데이터센터가 증가하고 있다”고 밝혔다. 이에 따라 Rack당 최대 100kW까지 처리는 물론 유럽 기준 PUE가 최대 1.02까지 구현이 가능하며 냉각 유지비를 최대 95%까지 저감시킬 수 있는 이머전쿨링사업을 주목했다.
글로벌 1위 기업인 스페인에 본사를 둔 Submer사와 협력해 국내 이머전쿨링시장에 진출했다.
원방테크가 선택한 이머전쿨링시스템은 Submer사의 Single phase Immersion Cooling이다. 효율(PUE)은 Two phase보다 다소 낮지만 용액의 증발량이 50℃로 1년 동안 운전했을 때 1.6~1.9리터로 매우 미비하며 유지보수 포인트가 적어 매우 경제적이다. 또한 용액가격이 저렴해 초기투자비가 감소되며 15년 수명 보증을 제공한다.
